Hi Luis,
The Phillips Hue Integration... Idea is a great idea.. However, I am wondering if there is any way to get the same thing except instead of controlling HUE, Could it Populate an FSUIPC Offset? 0= Excellent Landing 1= Pretty Hard Landing 2= Possible Damage 3= Crash ?
Thanks,
Trev
Hi Trev,
Yes, I suppose it is definitely possible - only thing to think about is how to define which FSUIPC offset to use... maybe user definable?
Currently, the Landing Rating System used by Instructor Station™ is defined as follows:
- Excellent Landing: Touchdown occurs at less than 100 FPM and less than 1.6 Gs. Lights will turn green at touchdown, and turn off after 30 seconds.
- Normal Landing: Touchdown occurs above 100 but at less than 600 FPM, and at more than 1.6 but less than 1.8 Gs. No lights will turn on.
- Hard Landing: Touchdown occurs at or above 600 but less than 840 FPM, and at or above 1.8 but less than 2 Gs. Lights will turn amber at touchdown, and turn off after 30 seconds.
- Very Hard Landing: Touchdown occurs at or above 840 FPM, and at or above 2 Gs. Lights will turn red at touchdown, and turn off after 30 seconds.
Cheers,
Luis
Thanks Luis. User selectable would be nice unless you convince mr Dawson to assign you a few.
