Ahhhh OBS! Now I know I may be of some assistance, because that is the software I use to stream. Nico I still owe you a call!

Just an update on the streaming issue.

I purchase a magewell dusl hd i capture card and i have 2 go pro 6 connected to it at 1080p 60 fps. And for the motion platform ca era, i have 1 go pro 6 connected to magewell usb capture card same settings 10980/60.

You guys were spot on, it is much much better now. After freeing up the usb 3.0 and using the captire card in a pci slot.... stream is great.

Which brings me back to my other point, why have i not been streaming?  Well, my dual yokes arrived with a faulty aileron hall effect sensor which has been driving me absolutely bananas. The fact that i have my sim sitting idle because of a 2 usd part breaks my heart.

The issue is that i bought in amazon every type of hall sensir and half came today the other half comes tomorrow. All of today;s were the incorrect one.

You do owe me a call, and with lots of interests accrued. I have been sitting in the shower holding my phone asking my self "why doesnt he call". I even took a flower with petals and took them apart one by one.... calls me, calls me not

Whenever im not in the sim, i enjoy offroading in my weekend estate aka camp nico

Just finished my VR Cockpit Desk - now the 2-month wait for Xmas ...

Here's some pics of my simpit.  It started in 2009 as an Akers-Barnes pit.

Then in 2013 a friend from work, who is also into flight simming, brought in an Arduino board and an idea on building a com/nav radio. So I followed his lead and built one at the same time.

That was the start of trying to remove the keyboard and mouse from the simpit...

After finishing the radio setup I started thinking of other functions I could get the Arduino to do. The next project was building a landing gear and tail hook lever.

My pit sat that way for about 2 years until I finally decided to start building a Tomcat pit.

I enlarged some images that I had of the F-14 cockpit layout and used them as plans.

I use a 23" monitor to behind the panel to display the gauges using the Air Manager software by Sim Innovations.  I had to build all the gauges except the VDI and HSD.  The VDI and HSD are exported from the Aerosoft F-14X and displayed on two 7" Lilliput monitors.

Here's the front, right and left vertical panel assembled.

A pic of the cockpit

I've added a glare shield since then.  I need to finish labeling the vertical panels and then I plan to build the right and left side panels.

You still using a single projector Jack?

Your pit looks pristine, how do you keep it so clean?  8)  ;)

Single projector 12 feet wide is good enough for immersion (ie: the airplane banks not the horizon)
180 is wonderful but not mandatory for my style of flying.

Sim is enclosed (limited dust)

Cheers

I hope others truly appreciate the level of effort that goes into such excellent craftsmanship.
