Title: Hello!
Post by: davdav39 on November 08, 2014, 12:41:19 AM
I have joined this website as I have decided that I would like to build my own flight simulator cockpit of an Airbus A320. I thought that the site would be useful to me if I got stuck and needed any help. I plan to run it off of FSX.

Hello and welcome.

You're in the right place.

There is lots of good material to research on this site and the folks here are very helpful. A lot of the regulars are offline right now having just completed worldflight but I'm sure will chime in here soon.

Hi there. As Miles so graciously said many of us are travelling all over the place because of Worldflight. In fact I am in the air right now heading back to Canada from Florida.

One thing you can begin to look at is what software you may want to use for the avionics.

I would recommend you go look at Www.projectmagenta.com (http://www.projectmagenta.com) for their Airbus logic and systems.

Great product.

In any case. The most important thing to do is build the aircraft you love. Don't be swayed from building what you want.  Paint and wood goes a long way to making it look like the real airplane.

Good luck.

Several choices out there for Airbus.

This one is something to look at:

Air Sim Tech is the other one along with Trevor's suggestion.
