Hello simbuilders

My name is Mario.

I've 38 and I live in France, married and 3 childs.

Playing with FS since 1992 I decided last january (2014) to start my pit contruction based on a 737 (as we can find almost anything for that plane) and by now it is at the following state:

DST Mip structure created with 20mm MDF boards (very strong and heavy also) following measurements from some websites
Mip plate and annuntiators holders from cockpitsimparts.co.uk, good prince, quality and shape.
Annuntiators PCB from opencockpits.
Master caution, fire warning and six pack from hispapanels.
Gear lever homemade.
2 x Pokeys57E to handle the MIP (1st as inputs and 2nd as outputs)
1 x EFIS PnP from Opencockpits (F/O not implemented yet)
1 x MCP P:P from Opencockpits
1x FMC from Opencockpits (F/O side not implemented yet)

AFT Electronic panel (pedestal) created with 15mm MDF
COM, NAV, XPNDR PnP from opencockpits
Fire panel from hispapanels.
(will buy 1x ACP, 1 x ADF, rudder trim and that's all)

FWD Overhead from poldragonet
Interface cards from opencockpits
Support arm made from strong aluminium square profiles and screwed directly to MIP structure (that's why I choose 20mm MDF for the MIP)

737 Throttle homemade from 10mm MDF is being motorized and will work with an USB DCMotors Plus card from opencockpits
Servoed thrust 1&2 and speedbrake and motorized trim wheels will be installed into.

Hardware:

1 CPU Code 2 Quad, 4GB Ram, 1Go HDD and 4 VGA outputs for Cpt side, F/O, UEicas and Cpt FMC, (LEicas and F/O FMC not implemented yed)
1 CPU Phenom X 4 965 with 8Gb RAM and 256SSD for FSX
2 x Radeon 6870 crossfire as the main output video card
1 Matrox 3HTG and three ACER 24" for the front view

Software:
FSX
FSUIPC (of course)
IOCP
iFly 737 NG CBE
some mega scenerys installed.

Scripting / programming:
OVH Sioc script made by myself.
Lua scripts to handle the mip made by myself (as no prosim in my software config)
A little .NET application to interact with pokeys and test the I/O from each connected card, created by myself also.

Cheers.
Mario

Welcome aboard Mario.
All that in 7 months!!!!

You certainly deserve the MACH 3 platinum award !  :D

Programming challenged Guys like me will probably need your input at some point  ;D

Pics always appreciated as they allow sharing innovative concepts.

Hi Jack, thanks

Yes in 7 months because I want to continue simming as soon as possible.

Pics will be available soon in my blog (easiest way to upload pictures).

Programming is not a problem for me, I create programs since 1991 and in many languages, so if you need help you cas ask for, will be a pleasure to help you.

archen

Welcome!

Agree with Jack. You should get some kind of award for getting all that done in 7 month  ;D

Keep up the work. I might be blind, but whats the adress to your blog?=

I wish I was as good as you are on programming. I guess I'm more of an hardware-guy. :-)

Regards,
Anders

Thanks friend

No you're not blind, here we go: http://pmd737.wordpress.com/

I put only photos in this blog, I don't have much time to explain and write unfortunately.

Yesterday I was tryng a relay board from polabs (pokays compatible) to deliver 12V to backlit when OVH Bat switch becomes on, but the relay card seem to be damaged, I don't worry about cause I'm planning to remake the mip wiring and use some other interfaces brand, OC, SISMO, ETC...
