Hi all, I'm based in Staffordshire in the UK and I've been building sims for the last couple of years. In my spare time I work with the Air Cadets, having built a generic FSX setup in an old Tornado training cockpit (originally from RAF Coningsby), with which I run a pseudo-flight school and take the cadets through their paces from a Grob Tutor right through to a F11 Lightning! I've also got an entire front end of an ex-43 Sqn F4 Phantom which I'd love to convert into a sim...but we'll see.

I'm particularly interested in dome projection setups and learning the best techniques / equipment etc., specifically a Tornado windscreen and canopy. So I'll be skulking around those kinds of threads for a while.

I've attached a picture of the Tornado sim as it is at the moment.

Cheers! See you around.

Hi Pete, and Welcome to the group.  Nice looking Shell you have there.  You will find lots of threads, and Ask if you can;t find.  The search tool is very useful.

Nice Sim Pete!

I envy smaller Sims sometimes.
Going straight to  Dome visuals is a challenge for the best of us,
maybe try a conventional curved screen first?
