Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce my Boeing 737-800 homecockpit project.
After a long time of planning and testing I finally found enough space and time to start my own homecockpit project.
To share the progress with the community I decided to start a youtube channnel to document every step of the build process.
At the moment I'm building the shell and parts of the inner construction. Later the topics panel creation electronics and programming will be covered. There will be further informations and sketchup files on my website http://www.mickeys-flightdeck.de
I hope it will be usefull for many of you.

And now I wish you a good time on Mickey's Flightdeck.

My new video went online right now.
The building of the "Quarter-Sill Lining".
It has been a lot of filling and sanding.

Hey Michael,

Thanks again for posting your links! You are amazing at what you do and if anything else, you deserve the Cockpit Builders Patience Award...if we had one 😀

Michael. Left you a comment on the last video. Get a Sliding T Bevel to help get those cutting angles right on.

Mickey,  An excellent resource and thanks for the effort and time in sharing your project.  I'm using your approach to build an enclosure for my JetMax 737-SKTQ, so I will have to make the necessary adjustments for a half cockpit.

Hello, I want to start the ceiling for my cockpit. But to know how it could look like I have build an overhead dummy first. The rest of the ceiling will be aligned to this.

Lots of time i see people with expensive machines, tool that cant build anything nice, but man... this guy is a total pro! Even if i had the equipment i wouldent be able to do this.

I will replicate this build but with not as much details. Love the foam though, brings alot of realism to it.

Thank you guys. It's always good to read that you like the videos.
It has been a while since my last video.
I was knocked out by my computer who decided to die after nine years of service. Now after my new PC arrived I could start editing videos again.

And here is my new video. I'm building the front ceiling over the windows.

Hey Mike,

Good to see you posting here and getting more YouTube videos uploaded. Just watched your latest one and it's amazing how far you've come already...

For the other members that are thinking about building a cockpit, you should watch all of Mike's videos, as they contain a lot of details about all the steps involved.
