Hi Phil,
I saw that one, bult hè is asking 80% of the current selling price.
Which is , imho, way to much.
About 50-60% would be more realistic.
When shipping to Europe customs and vat will add 30% at least.

I'll tell you that if Scott is asking 80% of current selling price, it is because they are probably in a condition that is worth that. If you've followed Scott's build over the years you'll see he's not in it for the money...
I'm not sure where you will find anything from CPFlight that is at 50-60% unless it has been run over by a truck. Even the oldest CPFlight MCPs and EFIS command a premium. The parts are built like a tank, and the guys at CPFlight give great support even on second and third hand buys.
Just :2cw: and expectation management.
Yes, good luck Gerard. I doubt you will find any less than these anywhere on the planet. I wont sell for less than what i already discounted them. Fine with me if they gather dust on a shelf for the next 20 years.
Nothing is cheap in this hobby.
Scott
Haway chaps, give the guy a break. He's only asking.
I haven't looked at the prices, but if 80% is right, then I wouldn't pay that for 2nd hand stuff either, no matter who's gear it is. I'd rather buy new.
The fact he has to factor in other fees doesn't help the situation.
Sean
I hear ya, Sean. I can empathize with him, no doubt. I can't afford those prices either.
I was just making a point that he might want to rethink his expectations. Nothing wrong with trying to find something in a lower price range. That is why I am sporting Prosimparts in my pedestal, and not Scotts CPFlight stuff.
If I wasn't putting in the work on cutting PCBs right now for mine, I'd buy Scotts. ;D
Gerard, consider introducing yourself to the forum (I think it's in the rules?), the guys (and gal!) on here are ok really!
