Hi all,

New to here, but I just introduced myself on the other thread.

I am desperately seeking for the Flightdeck Solutions wooden 737 shell plans. I can buy the paper plans or compensate if somebody can have them scanned or photographed etc.

As far as I know no plans were ever available.
I have the instruction manual and some pics but there are no dimensions on it.

Ah, ok so I guess it was sold as a kit?

Any possibility to scan the picture where the deck is shown from the front?

FDS use to sell this as a kit.  They only had the plans, wouldn't ever sell them.  They replaced this kit for the metal kit you will see most people have now.

Ooo. Those pictures are awesome!  I'd love to cut something like that up in my shop!

I have that kit that I got from an old member here. I have modified it quite a bit by adding the fly engravity aluminum window frames and adding and subtracting pieces all over the thing. Really only the side ribs remain from the original kit.
It is still in a state of change.....endless change.  ::)

Wow! That is looking great Craig!!

Awesome Setup Craig!
I see you build the same way as i will do, door at the same level as aft overhead panel frame ending.

I also thinking of buying the windows from engravitt or FDS. Are you happy with your purchase?

Caflyt

I'm very happy that I got the window frames.
Adding those window frames also give me a good starting reference point for all the other dimensions to extend from.
Because they are a consistent and uniformed shape I can use their shape and position as the basis for all other measurements.

Very sturdy and well made.
