If anyone is looking to try these out, EVGA has their UV12 convertors for $14.99 and free ship right now.  They are DVI, but will only got up to 1440 x 900 res (perfect up to 19" widescreen).

Hey,

Many of you have replied to my multiple monitor post regarding how I can setup my PFD instruments and EICAS screens, would this be a viable option instead of buying a new video card? Has anyone on here actually used this?

Thanks for the tip!

Matt

It is bloody cheap, so why not test?
Only possible problem would be that it may not support Open GL = Project Magenta and others.

I have 3 sitting here, haven't had a chance to test them, but I will this weekend.  These should be slower on accelerated graphics, so I wouldn't run call of duty on it, but should be OK for displays

I have a bunch of these and in fact do use 1 to display some of the panels in my B200 works well for that. I don't know if it would work for outside graphics. Next time I fire up the sim I will see.
