Curious to know if anyone has tried this program yet. Sounds 'interesting' but it could just be useless as well.

Hi Maurice.

Does sound interesting doesn't it ?

I have downloaded the software and will give the demo a try over the next few days and report back and let you if I find any improvements. Their forum shows 3 reviews which if true, Booster may well be of some help for FSX users. The price of 20 euros + tax seems reasonable if it works and is stable.

I will now have to let the good lady know that I will need to spend more time on the sim !!!!

Not impressed.

I did exactly what it said on the tin and having loaded the programme onto the computer, executed it the waited for 3 - 4 seconds as it said in the instructions and then started FSX. Nothing happened. I don't know what I was expecting but I thought I would have a box or something evaluating my computer system and specs so I could see if it was behaving itself.

FSX fired up and still nothing so  'X ed' out of FSX and tried again. Only having two shots before you have to register, I was a little disapointed to find I had lost my last life !!!!

Still following the instructions again, fired up FSX and - nothing. I took a plane out for a fly and checked again and still nothing to open up to see how FSX had been tweaked. To be quite honest, my frame rates were no different to normal on a night flight into Charles de Gaule.

To summerise, I may have been doing something wrong - I doubt it - and I noticed no difference.

I would be interested to hear if others have a similar outcome.

Hi,

You should see an icon near the clock.  Then the booster is active.  Otherwise it will not work.  With right click on the icon you access the menu.

Great.

Didn't read that in the manual !!!

Now the demos finished.

Can you please make that clearer for others.

Hi.

FSPS - I owe you an apology. I have just re-read the manual and found it.
I guess I was so eager to try it that I must have skipped that bit.

Anything I have previously written on this article, please ignore as I hadn't activated the software correctly.

Apologies once again.

Many thanks.

Gary

Hi Gary,

If you have already install FSX Booster then download the mentioned zip file, unzip it and replace all included files inside main fsx booster folder.
http://www..737ng.gr/1290.zip

If you have unistalled fsx booster, then download the setup file from
http://www.737ng.gr/Programs/Files/FSPS-FSX_Booster_Setup.msi

and after install replace the files from
http://www.737ng.gr/1290.zip

If you are using vista or win7, make sure to execute fsx booster with xp compatibility and admin rights
After execution fsx booster icon will be visible at the button right corner near the clock.  With right mouse click you enter the menu.  You can start fsx from there.

When fsx is closed after a flight,  fsx booster will automatically shutdown.
