Did a little flying this afternoon in the 727. Always a lady and performed flawlessly.

Pushing at Friedrichshafen

During set up prior to engine start

Departure procedure out of Friedrichshafen. I know some of you remember how to use paper...

Out of 5,300 for FL320

AP turn at Kempten VOR for UL608 to Tango (TGO) Anyone know where that is?

Radios setup for enroute navigation

Cabin crew finally gets around to the cockpit crew...

Good looking knee, huh?

Arrival procedure for Brussels, runway 01

One of the turns on the approach procedure

Another turn, a little closer

At least they got the wind right. Slightly right of course and a bit high. Not a problem for the 727, it'll fly right into the slot.

Awesome Mike.  Thanks for sharing that.  Gets the blood going and motivation up!  We need more posts like this on the site.  Posts of flights and experiences.  I really appreciate this.

You're very welcome. I guess I'll have to start taking more photos.

The problem is, all the good one's are when I'm at my busiest during the flight and I have to pause the sim to take them to avoid loosing control of the aircraft.

The easiest time to take photos are of the most boring views!

Well they have done just about every reality type TV  show out there . . might as well do a flightsim reality show!   Then we would get to see all the action . . of course if they filmed my flights it would be a comedy hour!     ;D

Very nice, Mike!

What displays are you running? I recall you bought a 32" LCD TV for one of them? They look very good!

Actually yes...  my wife is from near there and I used to spend quite a bit of time "underground" there with NATO back in the very early 90's.

Sim looks great!

Two 22"ws, 19"ws, 19", 24"ws. I was using my 32" TV for the left 90° view but that got to be a PITA to set up every time I flew. I'm still going to buy another one, just a matter of time.

Buy another 32" LCD TV? If you don't mind, what was the "pain" in setting up?

Thank you in advance!

Removing the cable connection, the DVD and VCR connections, setting up a small table with a small wooden box for the correct height, and making the electrical and computer connections then changing the resolution. Every time.

And then back again so TV, DVD & VCR could be watched.

The routine got old in a few short times.
