Title: Gday from Team737 down under
Post by: nicd on October 30, 2009, 01:30:56 AM
Hello from all us down here in World Flight Australia Team 737.  We're gearing up for the event and can't wait... almost ready.. almost.  Will the sim last 7 days of constant use, will we make every flight, will the crew make the distance, and will the beer not run out?

We're excited to have the support of Trev and the boys here at cockpitbuilders.com.  The streaming service that has been donated to us is fantastic and tests so far have been really encouraging. I encourage you to ride with us on the webcam and track our flightboard, on the map etc.  You can view the webcam on the site here and see all our other interactive stuff at http://www.worldflightoz737.org (http://www.worldflightoz737.org)

We've just done alot of work on audio quality so you'll now hear everything in the cockpit (mental note to self... don't fart  :-[ )  you'll hear aircraft sounds, crew conversations (yes - opne mic !) and all the ATC on frequency.

Oh - and if you can donate to our charity... please do!

cheers and catch you online starting Monday Nov 2

Fantastic Nic,  we are all happy to support you and your team.  as far as the whole farting thing goes..  perhaps you guys better layoff the beer. :)

I am looking forward to seeing more of the stream, so perhaps if you are doing some more testing this weekend I could have your schedule.  I just want to be sure everything is perfect..

Good luck to you and the other World Flight teams.

Hey Nicd, your video feed last time was the best thing on TV all year! Looking forward to it again this year.  It ruined my sleep patterns and probably didn't do much for yours either.

Found your site, but with a slightly different url to the one you posted:
just  http://worldflightoz737.org (http://worldflightoz737.org) - my ISP didn't like a www in front, and definitely wanted the 'd' in world  ;D

Have a great flight.
