So I haven't read everything on cockpitbuilders it just feels that way.
I find myself wanting more that a beginner can understand. That includes the pros and cons of various sim software, requirements of computers to drive the visuals and flight information and would there be a source dictionary to lead one to the various suppliers of it all?
Am ordering Bill Bulfer's 737 companion book (the 737 is my ultimate dream build)
but wondered if it might focus so much on the 737's that I should hunt up other material to help wade through it all.
Any thoughts and recommendations would be most appreciated.

I highly recommend the B737 Management Reference Guide. Now that my cockpit it as realistic as I can get it, I find annunciators lit up, cautions, issues and other problems. I turn to the MRG and it tells me why something is lit up, and how to fix it.
Great book.
