Well things are getting there. Keep in mind the eBay tool is still broke so for now you will have to post the entire link. We will post when that is fixed. Keep your eyes open for anything else we may have missed.

Are you telling me that when you type a post you get a WYSIWYG editor with the "Post picture button etc?"

Can you take a screen shot for me  please where you type a message?

Other then Fixing the Photo Gallery Colors I am done with making changes to the layout of the site..  (I don't want to do to much and end up slowing things down)  Please let me know if you notice any more "Issues" or things that don't look quite right, and we will try to get em fixed.

Some of you may notice at the bottom of all pages below the SMF copywrite is a PortaMx Cash report.  This identifies the length of time and number of queries that took place to generate a page.  If you see this number climb to ridiculously high numbers, please post your result to me or Bob, and we can better identify what was going on at the time.

I don't know what this means, but the home page was slow loading:

PortaMx-cache[ Mode:file, Hits:1, Fails:0, Cleans:0, Loaded:7.144 kb, Saved:0 kb, Time:0.001268 seconds ]
Page created in 12.447 seconds with 15 queries.

What that means is it took 12 seconds to create the home page for you, which is crap LOL.  If you see these numbers on a regular bases, please let me know.  Thats not good at all.

I have removed all of the extra stuff from the forum, so it should remain fast.  naturally the front page will take longer to load because of the nature of what is on it.  Hopefully not that long all the time though.

Thanks Mike.

Fixed and added attachments to Private messages, Added the HiSlide Viewer for attachments on the board so they don't open in a new window, and added an Enotify Ajax module that alerts the user of private messages and reply to topics if requested.

Another Trevor:

PortaMx-cache[ Mode:file, Hits:1, Fails:0, Cleans:0, Loaded:7.144 kb, Saved:0 kb, Time:8.7E-5 seconds ]
Page created in 12.08 seconds with 12 queries.

I actually noticed you never logged out there?  Its strange actually.  (Lists you as doing "unknown action")  Was that for the home page?
Title: Re: BROKEN SITE
Post by: Boeing Skunk Works on November 12, 2009, 01:52:41 PM
That was to load the homepage again after the post so I can see the 'New Posts' right sidebar.

I'm not sure if I'm ever logged out here as the site is always loaded on the iPhone too. I guess that would be a different IP though.

Well, what do we do?  Things slowed down when I installed the Downloads Mod and the PM Attachments..  Perhaps I should remove them and see if it improves again..  Maybe I will need to fins another way to access the downloads..

Ok, good to know you have noticed a difference Mike..  What I may do in the future is just add one thing at a time so we can identify the "REAL" Cuplrit.

Lets make sure first of all though that it keeps being fast for you for a day or so.

All of them. The reply page, the home page, any forum view or thread view.

In the lower left corner a little warning triangle with an exclamation point is pictured and it says "Done, but with errors on page."

I don't see any errors and the page looks just fine to me.

Does this help:

PortaMx-cache[ Mode:file, Hits:1, Fails:1, Cleans:0, Loaded:7.283 kb, Saved:0 kb, Time:0.000169 seconds ]
Page created in 0.923 seconds with 19 queries.

Yeah it helps.. Thanks Mike. Seems it is all an IE error.  I just had to reformat the board and add 15pix spacing around all the blocks because the forum overflowed the right "Active thread box...  "  I wonder if I turn back on the other boxes if that will get fixed..

Firefox works perfectly, just IE seems to have the issues.
