Title: Window sill chart holders
Post by: Aerosim Solutions on September 02, 2015, 04:57:38 PM
Hi all,
Last week I was quite fortunate to have a couple of pilots from Virgin Australia visit to check out my 737 sim. They programmed the FMCs in minutes and flew a trip from Melbourne to Launceston in a thoroughly professional manner. Watching these guys operate the sim from my jump seat was like visiting a real cockpit. They were very surprised how accurate Prosim737 performs and we all had a really enjoyable evening. Their only complaint was the lack of chart holders on the window sills so I addressed that problem the very next day! (I photoshopped the scenery for my website page btw!)

Hi Joe,
Your clocks are great mate and they work a treat. If you still have them I would like to buy another one just in case !!

Cheers Gwyn

I am surprised they use them now given all the EFB's .. in fact, where do they put the EFB in this case?  I just have Velcro on the window sill and the back of my Ipads and voila :)

Too many monitors in today's life
Paper plates and charts have a charm !
More so in a non pro simulator

These pilots have Ipads but still use paper charts in their sim checks, plus there is the load sheets, flightplans etc. I like the velcro idea, I might adopt that for my Ipad! Cheers Gwyn
