Title: 737 sunk into apron.
Post by: xxilim on April 21, 2010, 08:17:29 PM
Well about 10 months ago a Qantas 737 was on It's was on it's way to Adelaide from Sydney, but due to strong winds made a short stop over in Mildura.
Was a sight and a sound... seeing as though we only have the DASH 8 Q400, SAAB 340 and metro liners in and out of here.

The funny thing was we were working on an apron upgrade and look what it did to it!!!
That photo doesn't do it much justice, was a lot deeper than it seems.
I think they were about 70 to 80% power to get the thing moving.  :o

Wow Craig, that thing really made some divots..  It is amazing how much weight the aircraft actually has on its gear.  Neat story.
