After trying with 3 different projectors and a few mirrors I came up with a pic 1,87 wide with a throwdistance just over 1,5 meters.
On top of the wall with the projected pic I mounted the projector as high as I could. Made a bracket from some scrap metal.

After testing where to place the mirror, I mounted it on to a MDF board, and hooked it up to the ceiling. MDF was also some scrap I found ;)

The MIP is placed only about 45 cm from the wall.

Quite happy with the result, but I might have to do some adjustments when I get the windows up as this sketch shows:

Best way when room size is tight.
In 2007, Tim Henry shared the idea of a curved mirror projecting on a curved screen (no Nthusim at that time) to widen the view.
Worth to look at that 9+pages post.

I looked into the curved mirror in the planning fase, but found it not to suite my room.
Here is a pic showing thhe result a little bit better.Shot is taken during light test of MIP.
Got 5 LED strips in the mail today, so I will start testing flood this weekend. Think I get the dimmer tomorrow.

Ya those were the days hey Jack, next thing I knew everyone wanted to know where to find the cintra plastic mirror i was using lol. Was a good idea I thought at the time but since then all you geniuses far surpassed my little idea with some seriously kickass stuff i must say. But was nice of you to think of me Jack :)
