g'day chaps.....
Dave Holt has been in touch to show me his latest creation......
Dave is making a 737 Cockpit Frame from steel and is offering them out at a great price.
Unpainted around £450 (510 euro/$730)
Painted in RAL7011 at around £550 (625 euro/$880) or
Powder Coated in RAL7011 at around £650 (740 euro/$1040)

yes all welded, but there are three bolted brackets on it for assembly.

I don't know about that price to be honest! I have built two full steel frames which included the 1.5m x 1.5m base, mountings for two seats, the windshield framework and cantilevered overhead panel. One was for my own sim and the other was a B747 for another local guy. I had my mate who is a pro welder supply the steel and build them for AUD$650.00 each which is about GBP300.00 Add four castors and it has plenty of clearance for the mechanics of a dual yoke set up. My mate makes them in a day but I guess they would be difficult to ship around the world, maybe I should start producing kits!
