My friend Leif and I have started to build two matching Boeing 777 cockpits with the help of his CNC machine.
As the picture is showing, the readymade parts for one off the MIPs and pedestals before assembly.
This will be an exact copy of the other. Some instruments are partly ready to with the help of the CNC machine.
Will try to keep you posted as we advance on the project...

Really nice work there.

A little more from our 777 project.

I'm unsure of what you are asking about Marco? They are ment to be fully working.
All the panel parts and print cards are made with the CNC machine (see below) and text engraved with the CNC after paint is added. We will then be adding some clear 100% matt paint for protection.
As to the moving needle on the rudder trim (and the elevator trim) we will be using small servos or small stepper motors. Tested both, but not yet finish and not decided what to use (Two different mechanical solutions).

Some more panels started;

We have started on the CDU's, but far from finish.
As shown is mounted a 12v, 5" color VGA bought from China. Tested the displays with the Sim-Avionics CDU module and gives an impressive picture quality.

And at last, for the curiosity, two pictures of the home made CNC machine we use.
It is quite big and incredible precise.
