If I had found this a year ago, assuming it was around then, it would have been part of my desktop pit.  I put my desktop pit together using a variety of CH Products,Saitek, Logitec, and some DIY pieces and  my total spend over a year was only about $200 less than the purchase price of their unit.  And there'sis far more compact so taking it on and off the desk is actually feasible.

Even after my full pit build id done I'm still thinking about keeping the desktop pit, but something like this would allow me to shrink its foot print down by quite a bit.

I think they are good value for money and there's a Spitfire model on the horizon!
