Sitting in my 4th floor office at work looking out to the east toward Chicago and Lake Michigan from the western suburbs I am gazing at the clouds rolling by in light grayish white puffs (KORD 311651Z 27017KT 10SM BKN024 BKN031 M09/M14 A2983) outside as I contemplate flying my simulator later tonight on X-Plane.     It just dawned on me looking out my window at just how real these clouds going by my office look!!!.....I mean.....they ALMOST and I mean ALMOST look as good as X-Plane 10's Clouds!!!!!    ;D

Amazing....

Hey Scott...   You know you are a "gonner" when you get reality mixed up with virtual reality :-)

Your'e the man when it comes to XPlane10 !  Keep the comments coming, as we all greatly appreciate your leading the way.

It's amazing!!! They also almost look as good as my FSX clouds even with just 1024 texture resolution  :)

Crap, too bad...next time.

Visibility really went down hill and sucks now Mike so good luck tonight.   If you get stuck on the ground due to delays overnight call me up.  I will come out and pick you up.

I know what you mean about mixing reality with virtual.  I've often found myself looking up at the clouds on a sunny day and instinctively thinking "yeah REX2.0 I reckon"!  :o

Even worse ...you look at the real clouds and think: " mmm this really looks like a  simulator sky!! ???
