Hi all,
As if I haven't got enough on my plate!! I've just bought a 1967 C172 shell to convert when I've finished my 737 and Blake's 747. The little Cessna should be relatively easy to fit out as a sim but it might end up as a B58, still to be decided. It sure is dwarfed by the jumbo shell, nice to have the real deals together!!

Gooday Gwyn, you are a terror for punishment !! That should be an easier project I suspect than the big ones. Will be keen to see how the analog instruments go, but I think a lot of that has been solved.

Thanks for the great link Peter, I was wondering where I could get a windscreen from. I can make the flat panels but attempting a screen would be a nightmare!

Yes Trevor it certainly is a blank canvas but probably the best way to make a start. I think I will just fit monitors for the gauges and a Saitek radio stack to keep the costs down. You've probably seen the new seats I'm making for the 737, the old seats will fit perfectly in the 172.

I think it will be good to have a 'low and slow' next to the Boeings!

Cheers Gwyn
