I hope I have the name of it right, but I found some good information for beginners there a few months ago.  Now seems to be gone without a trace.

Yeah, I found an e-mail address for him somewhere and I also tried.  Didn't bounce, but inquires weren't answered either.

At least I know I remembered the name of the site correctly.

Thanks Dave,  I was actually trying to enquire of the cause for it being down.  If there was any way We (Cockpitbuilders) Could help keep it alive, I would have been happy to assist him.

Like I said more than anything I just want to know he is ok.

The Way back machine still has a full copy of the website archived, but it just isn't the same viewing it like that.

Never heard of the Way Back Machine till you just brought it up.  Great!  It's a "way back" to the site.  I agree it's not like the original, but I'm glad for access to the info there.

I, too, hope he's okay.  Sad when you read  A word form the author piece at the end.  Great asset to the hobby...
