Hey guys,
As i briefly described in subject i need help with this new prject, and i think that the best way to get it is to ask guys that are doing it for many years already-you guys on this forum.
S
o the stuff is like this: my father had an engine failure and forced landing with R44 robinson. everyone survived but the helo is destroyed. So i want it to continue living by makning it a simulator.

Since this crash got us a little bit in a financial struggle-since we dont have helo to work with until we get money from insurance i need help from you guys, how to make this an cheap simulator.(not the cheapest but affordable)

I was thinking taking potenciometers from my joystick that i use for sturmovik it is thrustmaster afterburner 2 and set it up in r44'2 cyclic and collective.
Than buy usb rudders.
set up a pc with microsoft flight simulator(located in the place where engine was before).
all i need now are instruments and some screen/projector/plasma set up.
I dont know which is the best so im hoping You can help me with advices.
for instruments i was thinking one lcd display and set the instruments in the holes of original analog r44 instruments.
Thanks in advance!

I think this would be a great project!
Lots of nice FSX/XPlane scenery to buzz around in.

As for visuals, a 180+ HD projected system would be the only way to fill such
a large viewing area.

I would personally leave all the original controls and interface them with sensors
and a few joystick cards.

A few LCD's behind the instrument panel would be the easiest, quickest and most economical
method of getting avionics up and running.

Sounds like fun to me!
