Well said Frank!

I have seen a few people talking about the Benq W1080ST as a good choice of projector for the price.

For blending software some are using Fly Elise.

I found this...

Scalable Display Technologies
Office: 617-864-9300 ext.514
Mobile: 617-470-0702

Don't know the company, I just started talking to them a week ago, waiting on prices, etc.

Cheers,

Bob Reed

Let me be very clear here, I do not support Warpalizer in this issue. They lied to their customers in public. This is not a he said type of thing you can all read the posts. I do understand why they had to make changes to how they do business, but they should have informed their customers. It is time for you the customer to speak with your wallet.

Mink

This is an great example why it is so important to have a forum like this.
To inform  people.
Sam and to the others thank you for this information.

Originally updates to Warpalizer were indeed free. Tweaking the program to make it better was not a big issue and could be done relatively easily although there was a cost to it.  A couple of years ago, before I became a re-seller for Warpalizer I purchased the software for my sim and was given such an upgrade without charge after a few months of owning it.

But as LM started to change P3D quite a bit, simple fixes no longer sufficed.  The graphic engine changed and there had to be a lot of reprogramming  done to make Warpalizer work with it.  The dongle no longer worked as well and that had to be sent back for reprogramming.   LM came out with v2 and that meant another huge reprogramming issue.   The costs to do this grew and now free upgrades were no longer possible.   It hasn't been an issue with FS X because that program's code hasn't changed in several years.

Now as this was happening it probably would have been a good idea for Warpalizer to make some kind of general announcement about the changes in policy.  Instead some customers found out about the additional costs to upgrade and obviously were not happy. Could it have been handled more smoothly?  Perhaps.  But they were not trying to gouge their customers  but instead recouping their costs to upgrade their program for a very small portion of their customer base.

We all know the importance of good communication.  But sometimes it doesn't work out the way it should and we only need to remind ourselves how some threads on this forum have turned out quite nasty when differences of opinion exist.

We now know the Warpalizer policy and so far the problems have seemed to exist with P3D.  Even LM made V2 customers fully pay for this version although they may have purchased an earlier version a few months earlier.

One can choose Warpalizer or not and it is one's choice to make.

Hey Guys,
I just bought a copy of Immersaview Pro.

I was guided by the comments here, including Nat, who I reckon is a real Guru.
He's got great cred and hasn't put a foot wrong and has always steered me in the right direction.

anyway, Immersaview was my choice, but the thing that sealed it was the ability to be able to save camera views straight back to P3D V2.2.

That is a dream come true.

I'm still setting up my displays (3 x Natvis high Def short Throw projectors), but so far, I'm astonished at the results.

Thanx Nat, you're on the top of your game, mate!

Sorry, thanx also to Sam for starting this thread!

Thanks for the kind words Frank!
Be sure to keep me up to date on the installation.

Hi All Cockpitbuilders,

This is Nikola From Fly Elise-ng.
I'm following this forum thread and it is really disappointing to hear the frustration around Warpalizer.
I myself had a very unpleasant experience with Mr. Olav from Warpalizer: In December 2013 i visited the warpalizer booth at I/ITSEC in Orlando. I went there with my best intentions to discuss the possibility for cooperation for the best technical and commercial solution for the simmers market. Instead, I was taken by my arm by Olav and thrown away from the booth naming me "you're a preak!".
Not professional at all.....

Anyway, I decided to write this post to offer an alternative to all of you using (or planning to use) Warpalizer and who are not satisfied  with their product or service.

We at Fly Elise-ng offer Immersive Display + Calibration PRO. This software combination integrates with all versions of X-Plane/FS9/FSX/P3D1 and P3D2 and produces the best geometrical correction and blending including the view configurations for all the flight simulators.

Have a look at a couple of videos on our youtube channel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DDnSQ-gPiE&list=PLedh5XqzKygmhHNgq_Ll_WqQ5yiNCNUgV

I would like to make two offers:
All our software is available for download from our web site:
http://www.fly.elise-ng.net/

1. For the first 10 users who can make and send us a nice video that shows the steps of the calibration steps and the usage of Immersive Display + Calibration PRO in their setup, we will offer then a free license of Immersive Display + Calibration PRO. All videos will be published on our web site and on our youtube channel.
2. For all users of Warpalizer who are not satisfied and frustrated with the Warpalizer software, we offer a free Warpalizer license replacement to Immersive Display + Calibration PRO. Contact is for for information.

With kind regards  and happy warping,
Nikola Gidalov

Thank you for your post Nikola, I wish you would have post this two days ago, it would have save me a few bucks, I already purchase a professional blending software, (yesterday to be exact) I did got to see your site and your program, actually it was recommended by many on this site, but at the end of the day I started comparing apples and apples and decided to go with an orange, I went with a totally different software, let's hope is what I'm expecting.

Nevertheless we appreciate your post and I'm sure some one will take advantage of such a great offer and let them be aware of the danger involved on purchasing Warpalizer and it's customer support.

Cheers,
Sam

I've been away for a few days and only just read this post.  Knowing that there is ALWAYS two sides to every story I decided to do some investigating. The actions of Olav, whom I've met a couple of times, didn't seem right and after I got the other side of the story, it's no wonder he did what he did to you.

Please correct me if I am wrong but did you not say to Olav, in the presence of your associate from PixelWix, that you did not respect patents on software and you had no problem by copying everything you could lay your hands on. (In this case an automatic camera alignment system made by the German company Visoso) Olav asked if you did not respect the work done by others and you said: "No, I do not and I feel free to copy anything software based."

It was at this point Olav demanded you leave their booth and when you did not, he forcefully escorted you out of the area.  The next day your associate returned to the booth to apologize for your comments.

And now you are offering everyone on this forum a special deal if they purchase your software after trashing Olav.  Now let's talk about "professionalism" Nikola!!!

Dear Harry,

Off course your post contains a lot of lies and untruth, but I'm not going to discuss it further with you for a simple reason: I do not know you at all and you have not been involved in this event personally to be able to discuss the details.

Also I'm not going to be involved in a discussions that look like the discussion: "Who invented the Tab browsing?".

I wouldn't have started this  action of offering a license replacement if it was not for the dozens of frustrated Warpalizer users.

So my offer stays: (note the not satisfied and frustrated )

- For all users of Warpalizer who are not satisfied and frustrated with the Warpalizer software, we offer a free Warpalizer license replacement to Immersive Display + Calibration PRO. Contact is for for information.

Regards,
Nikola

Nikola,

I agree that this kind of discussion does NOT belong on this forum. You should have kept your discussion to like you said, "frustrated" Warpalizer customers.  But instead you took a cheap shot at Olav by giving your very short version of what happened at ITSEC and leaving out several details, the main one being your views of patents and stating it was ok to copy software!!  Your own associate was embarrassed enough to return the next day to apologize on your behalf to other Univisual employees.

Whatever happened between you and Olav should have remained between the two of you.  It was YOU who chose to introduce the incident to this forum and give your version of events and then use that as ammunition to promote your product.

You mentioned "professionalism" in your first post so how about practicing a little bit of it.

This is a very uncomfortable thread!

Harry the proffessional thing to do would have been to PM Nikola.

The offer from Nikola is very generous indeed and certainly belongs here - thanks Nikola.

Now please...
