Those that know about and have used Pilot Edge know how awesome it is and how it can really make you sweat working on IFR flights like the real world if youmdont know what your doing or get behind the airplane and procedures.     You will also know of Keith Smith the founder and his awesome knowledge and insight in flying in the IFR system.    He just put out this new series and of course I had to sign up right away.   Some very exciting training to be had and looking forward to it very much.  Anyway...just wanted to throw out a plug for this as I think it will be very valuable for many here.  I am not affiliated in any way but am an active supporter and subscriber to Keith's wonderful service and now this sure to be great program.

Hopefully Keith will jump on and add some more detail but here is the link.

Thanks for the reference, Scott.

We might be changing up or adding more video previews, otherwise the page that Scott posted pretty much says what it's all about. The video is not a reference for how to pass the flight test or knowledge test, it's more about the fundamentals that you actually need to know when flying in the system. There's a lot of information about the ATC side of things as well.

If anyone has any questions, fire away.

If you're a PilotEdge member with a card on file, it will purchase from us and give you instant access. If not, we no longer require you to sign up for a PilotEdge account, you'll be transferred to the Pilotworkshops version of the informational page where you can purchase easily without a PE account.

I'll be the first to admit that the purchase process is a little tedious if you're not already a PilotEdge member, but here's how it goes if you're starting from scratch:
1) Create a PilotEdge account: http://www.pilotedge.net/join

2) Log in to the account using the password that is emailed to you

3) Update your payment information from the account center (it'll be the page you see when you first login, but if not, click the Account Center on the top right)

4) Send an email to billing@pilotedge.net and request access to Real World IFR (this will be more automated in the future for new accounts. For now, it's a manual process on new accounts that are in the trial period. Existing members with full accounts have one click access to buy the product)

5) Once you receive an email back saying you have access, you can visit the RW IFR product page and you'll be good to go: http://www.pilotedge.net/rwifr

If anyone has any questions about the product, fire away! There about 11.5 hours of footage there between 7 flights, the briefs, the debriefs and the ground school.

Quick update, the purchase process has been vastly simplified. If you're not logged into the PilotEdge web site, the buy-now link on the product information page will link you to the Pilotworkshops version. If you are a PilotEdge user with a card on file, the buy-now link will give you instant access to the product.

The link itself hasn't changed:
