I have sent them several emails over the last 2 weeks with no response. If you know him, please put him in contact with me as I am interested in the awesome product they have to offer. They are about to lose a couple of customers which is unfortunate as the product really caters to builders who use real parts.

Thanks
Rob

I got a reply from them this morning. Doesn't say much more than the website. They r still working on integrating software. Sounds like it is not ready yet.

Hi,

Rodney from Simstack answers according to workload, most of times within a few days ... good communication!

Today a newsletter arrived in my inbox - you may subscribe on their website. News and dev. roadmap here: http://www.simulatorsolutions.com.au/simstack-development-roadmap-post/

G'day!

Rodney and myself (John) are behind SimStack.

We started it as a personal project for a few PSX sim builder mates with the goal of simplifying the interface of real aircraft hardware, ie. hook up straight to the back of the panels, no need to build complex power distribution networks or hack the inside of the panel.

We also wanted to avoid drivers, USB etc as much as possible, as well as decentralise things a bit to reduce single points of hardware failure that can wipe out big chunks of the Sim.

As we've progressed with the rollout we've been happy that the solution is actually doing what we want and meeting our expectations and have been sharing the info on our website as we know there are others out there facing the same niche challenges!

However - having been the customer in the Sim world we are wary of overpromising on timelines or features and want to make sure we deliver for our existing 'customers' (including ourselves :) ).   We try to keep updating the site as we progress, and we have added an FAQ page (linked from the top menu bar) where we post responses to some of the more common questions are being collated.

The best way to keep up to date is to Subscribe on the website. In addition, if you join the website via the Members pages you will be able to access additional product guides and info. As a member you will also be able to see more of the previous blog posts with links to other videos and descriptions of the various features as they were in development.

We do try to get back to email queries fairly quickly - apologies if it takes a day or two.  We are not deliberately ignoring emails, so if you haven't had a reply try a direct email to info@simulatorsolutions.com.au

Cheers!
