I got two from Nick a few weeks ago and to my surprise  they were in much better shape as in the pictures. Now that I know how to open them, onces back from Simujabs I will restore the backlights.

I need some of these two so I'm going to have a crack at making them, The mechanicals shouldn't be too hard but making the housing mold could be a bit tricky as I don't have an original housing to copy. I might have to make a pattern using my trim switch cover for sizing. Cheers Gwyn

Hey Gwyn,
I can probably lend you one of mine, in a pinch. just let me know,

Good on you Frank that's very generous of you but I won't be needing yours. Yesterday I contacted Nick at APHS and he said he had two really good units for US$110ea, I bit the bullet and bought both of them. I will be making molds of the casings before they get installed, I think they will be simple enough to make as a product. The European replica suppliers are charging 110 Euros ea which is more than buying real ones, I think a serious undercut is required. Some suppliers are just plain greedy!

Yeah, I know you'll do a real good job, Gwyn, as always. Mine were in the yokes when I bought them and they are in excellent condition. I just haven't got around to hooking up the lighting yet.
You're right Gwyn, they are very lacking in the community.

And Warren, that's a first class job on the printer, mate. Very close to the real thing.
