The amount of cabling you have in there is incredible. Was this an actual 747 that you acquired or did you build this from scratch from an empty shell?

Looks excellent.  I know how much work that would be lol. You deserve a freeking medal.

Thanks for posting

That's amazing what you have accomplished in only 12 months. Congrats. I have had mine for 6 years and am not 1/2 as gas as you are.

Nicely done.

Bernard, I'm impressed.
You obviously know what you're doing. I'm building a B747-400 cockpit as well and I considered going this route but it was cost prohibitive. Having all the wires there makes a difference. How did you connect everything and to what power source?
What airline was it flying for before teardown?

Great pics, thanks for sharing

having all the aircraft wires there from cut does not help you really or make things faster or make it a better ..... they still have tobe identified extended and labelled and a million other things have to happen its not a simple matter of wire x to switch b via whatever power source you have.

my build does not really relate to what most are doing here mine is more closer to the are you completely insane side of things ..as to power  I use DC and AC with i dont know how many relays (but alot) with breakers and distribution boxes etc etc in short its all a nightmare in the making and not for faint of heart .

Guys, you should see what he does in one day.... i am amazed. next time someone   trolls him, first accomplish half of this and then we talk.
These pictures are not displaying the magnitude of what he has at hand. It is just amazing to  see the daily progress. The best, he is by no means someone coming from this walk of life that should master technology the  way he does.
Just inspiring and he is allow to call me whatever he wants whenever he feels.

cheers

thank you..however my sim has been a true international effort many people have spent many many hours helping me along with many frustrating hours getting me to understand basic concepts my unit would not be where it is today without such help and paitence from these guys and all know who you are..so thanks

Hey Bernard
I can imagine it would be difficult even when everything is there. Its impressive. Would you know Edoradar? he is from Italy. He helped me with a few things. I think he is building a B767.

I am gobsmacked at how far you have come. In one way you almost have OCD in a good way every relay is nicely labeled and identified. I am sure we all could learn a thing or two.

Whoops. Thought I was in my thread.

Nice job Trevor!
I always had a fondness for Beech 99. I remember the charter company on Vancouver Island would come to the airport in their Beech 99... better looking than the Shorts Brothers 360 but that's just my opinion

Lol thanks Perry. It will be a little nicer looking. Especially with the fireproof wood liners I have installed. Ha ha ha.
