I currently have an NG landing gear panel, and the the diagrams on the Korry's indicate that bulbs are used not LED's. It is also said that all Korry's in the new gen have been converted to LED's.

Now I'm confused. Do NG's use LED's or regular bulbs?

Some will be LEDs, depends on the age of the aircraft etc.  They should still run just the same off 28v.
Most new stuff out of the factory will be fitted with LEDs, but i can almost guarantee anything you pick up second hand will be normal bulbs.

Just pull out the cap and look at one of the bulbs

Thanks Mick!

But how do I pull off the plastic legends without breaking them? They seem pretty brittle.

Negative,

Pull out the whole centre section that you push in to test. it will come out as an assembly
