Simionic G1000 app....which ipad?

Hi all,

I am in the process of building a home cockpit based upon the Carenado Phenom 300. I am currently looking into using ipads and the Simionic app for the G1000.

Is anybody using this? If so which ipad are you using?.

I currently don't have an  ipad so I am wondering if the ipad air version 1 is powerful enough as I will need to buy 2 of them. I am looking to reduce the costs if possible.

I should add that it will be the FSX version.

Hi I run it on an air 1 - no problems.

I'm pretty sure I've run it on older iPads too - I have about 6 of them! - and don't recall any problems, but I can say for sure that the air 1 works (ran it on this yesterday).
