So all of you or most of you know I had an FDS Full sim and sold some of it (Mip and OH) in pursuit of building an OEM parts based -200.   Well OEM is fantastic of course but a lot of work.   I second guessed my decision and so decided to perhaps go back to the NG as my day to day flyer and leave the -200 as a longer term project.    With that I ordered another NG Mip, glare, and pedestal from FDS.

Well they just arrived today and let me tell you....I am as blown away today as I was 5 years ago when I got my first order.   I can honestly say FDS parts are as close to reality as you are ever going to get.   The craftmanship and attention to detail is second to none and I have to pinch myself again and again to make sure I am not dreaming when I look at this stuff.  Seriously, you cannot find better representations of the NG without getting real oem parts.  And even with OEM you will find tough challaenges that FDS has otherwise thought of and handled for you already.

Thank you Peter, Steve, Corina, Shiela, and team for doing what you do for our small community!

More to come...

I couldn't agree more, Scott.

I bought the whole MIP, CDU bay, shell, liners and nearly all my elec cards and IO cards.
So professional that many of my engineer friends who work for airlines comment on their authenticity.

I've got a good mix of OEM too, O/H, yokes, seats, etc and they all go together seamlessly with the FDS gear.

Peter, Steve and all the guys at FDS have always been fabulous to deal with, even so far away.

Scott, I can't agree more! They are covering the professional/commercial market and still treat you like being their only client.
They have a great level of flexibility.
From accounting to shipping, they are all very dedicated and put customers first.
I hope one day they will include X-plane  native support.
Cheers

The only panels with proper backlight!
I will order a set for the pedistal when i come to that point in the build.

I agree  with Scott and Kurt, having just redone my AFT OVH and Pedestal avionics mixing real parts and FDS parts, everything blending perfectly.

Great news.

How long from when you placed your order did it take for all your gear to show up?

Thanks.

I ordered it back in December but I specifically asked them to hold off delivery until April.   They would have likely had it ready in Feb which is fairly quick turnaround time.   They are really good about letting customers know what to expect on lead times depending on their production schedules and keep one well informed.

Hmm, can you tell which panel backlight is FDS and which is my homemade?  :P
