Hey guys, not sure what is going on here or maybe something changed with v4.

Using the Project Magenta flight model and P3D v4.0, usually I would setup a flight, tweak the view left, right, tilt etc. Save it, make it the default flight and bam we were done. Now the view doesn't appear to save and reverts on each load. Any ideas?

I Just did this last night and it was fine.. (I just upgraded to P3D4).  You are setting the view through multiple VC windows right?  With 2D views, you may need to set them up with the GUID's in the P3DV4.ini file..

But I opened 3 VC windows, Undocked them, put them in their spot configured them, saved the scenario, made it default, and it works every time.

The PM 737-800 model doesn't have a VC view. If you right click, you can select 2D, Spot, Top Down, etc. Virtual Cockpit is grayed out and not selectable. If it was I would be in great shape!

I have 3 projectors running through a matrox triple, and Nthusim to correct the blending. This is the first time saving a flight after setting the zoom and tilt on the 2D view has not saved. Can you elaborate on the GUID P3DV4.ini?

Angelo,

I was under the impression that even though the aircraft doesn't have a vc you could still open a vc window.  (It just wouldn't have a model to it).  I would still open the VC Views if you can and set the views that way if possible.

If you can't do that you can setup the views in the sim, or aircraft.cfg file like this tutorial.

Angelo, use the tutorial Trevor points to. That is the way I did it for a long time. I am now fighting, I mean working with View Groups.
