Faceplates for instruments

Hi,
How do you guys do the faceplates for analog instruments?

Black and White is easy to engrave but I'm looking at coloured guages.

I've used this ( https://www.megauk.com/quickmark-digital.php) along with a laser printer and obtained reasonable results.
They're a little glossy , but on my ever growing list of things to try is to print on their PCB artwork film.

Hi Anders,

See if you can find someone locally with a UV cure printer.
The ink from those sticks like the proverbial "Shit to a blanket"

I have refurbished several OEM gauges with this method

Would be interesting to hear how you guys did the faceplate. Choice of materials etc.
