Has anyone here ever shipped from Holland to the US?  I'm having difficulty getting a quote.

Thanks.

I have had several shipments from there, Fedex was the cheapest option.
That was to Australia, via the USA. They could kick it out of the door on the way through :)

Crazy expensive, Mick.  But thanks.  Cheapest I've found is $1800.  FedEx was $4980.  Economy Freight.

What are you having shipped??  A vault full of concrete?  :D :D

shipping costs have become insane     example   over 300 USD to ship US to Europe for a MCDU    and that was not Express..  also the hurdles are a nightmare    ID required inspection of package etc etc it's really  somewhat intrusive on the shipper ..just sets me off like a fire cracker

It is getting so bad for us builders that sometimes my shipping cost exceed the costs of what I am buying.
My 737-800 full-scale cockpit has been sold. Now onto my full-size military helicopter project. An AOPA member and LifeTime member of National Association of Flight Instructors. Please note that I am a self-employed professional cockpit builder that provides consulting to defense contractors and civilian schools and airlines.

Unless it is huge in size, I use USPS postal service with Europe and it is fast reliable and cheap.
