I need help with locating an frame structure to mount my FDS overhead panels?
I have seen some on the web, but need advise on the pros and cons? My space will not warrant a full cockpit structure.
any thoughts would be great!! :)

Sorry Guys should have been more specific. I am looking for the frame to hold the FWD & AFT overhead panels, not the overhead housing/boxes. I have seen ones in the net. Some of them look like a tripod that attaches behind the MIP with 2 legs that go on each side of the seats.
Does that make sense?

The other option is having one made by a local machine shop

I can attest to the build quality and strength being as I just put the JetMax Overhead support structure together 4 days ago. It is one heavy and sound support! You don't have to worry about the Overhead falling on your head with this structure unless it falls on you during the install!

Clement's website has detailed measurements, photos and details for this frame. (as well as pretty much everything else!!)

I'm paying attention to your post since i will struggle in the next few months with building an overhead stand for FWD and AFT, which needs to be strong, and moreover reliable! I don't want to be crushed while doing my checklist ;)
I'm quite interested by the Jetmax model but i if i understood properly, it's aimed to hook up only the FWD overhead...

The JetMax Overhead Stand is designed for the forward overhead only. Could you put an aft OH on it, probably so. I'm no engineer but that sucker is strong. Some of it may depend on how it's mounted, mine is bolted to the MIP, and the MIP and it's structure is screwed to the floor. If you have an idea on the weight of the aft OH I'll conduct some unscientific testsfor you (read-hang some extra weight on it and see how it does) LOL
