Not sure if this is the spot to post but I am new here and wanted to say Greetings!! I Was given the link to this site. I am starting a project building a cockpit in my living room. Low budget for the moment to get her done but it will be an ongoing project till I eventually get it finished just the way I want it.

Looking for all pointers on how to make switches and connect them to the computer and noticable by the computer. I was also looking into actually building my own yoke out of an actual aircraft controls. Not sure what is involved in that but I want my cockpit as "REAL" as possible not just real looking.

Any pointers would be great!!

Welcome to the group Phil, I had to move your post cause it was in the wrong area, but no harm done.

One suggestion is go into the forums and read read read, there is lots of information here that can help you grow with your project.  The search utility is very strong.

Again, glad to see you here.

Welcome to the group Phil  :)

Like Trevor said, "read, read, read" and if you have any questions there's always someone that could help point you in the right direction. It's a really great community, as a new builder myself, I have learned a great deal by following the conversations and engaging. With that said, good luck with your build and welcome.
