Title: Building a B737 Main Instrument Panel
Post by: Aerosim Solutions on February 04, 2010, 05:16:32 AM
I thought I would post the MIP pics here instead of the CNC thread!

I was asked for closer detail of the backlight panels so here are a couple of close up shots...

What material did you use for the bezels?

It's 6mm "Trovidur" PVC, great to work with. My current sim panel and console is constructed mainly from PVC. It is easy to bend and mold when heated with a heat gun.

I like PVC too. Very easy stuff to work with. All of my instrument panels are made from it except the Collins bezels.
