I could call this post 'Why I fly", but I only fly simulators anymore.

(Bob, if you are reading, this is why I went from a KingAir to a 1900. The cockpit offers a LOT of hands-on.. and your workload can get overwhelming at times during take-off and landing.)

Plus the engine startup sequence is fun!

...and then there's this... Coming soon. Produced by the same guy that produced the classic One-Six-Right

Good stuff!

16R is a great one too, have it on my shelf.

That video makes me miss my PMDG BE1900 in FS9.  1st airplane I flew on-line in VATSIM and with my 1st VA.

Anyone have the Carenado model?  Is it any good?

I have both the Carenado KingAir 200 and the B1900.

BOTH models rock! That said, I love the B1900... Best A/C I've ever flown in the sim world. I've never flown the real B1900 but if I did, I hope it would mimic this flight model as closely as possible. The Carenado Beech line is the cream of the crop.

For a curious look into my flight deck, here's a more technical view into my operations....

Ray, I have to know how or what you used for the markings on your TQ. Looks amazing.

I drew them all out in Photoshop on a single sheet then had them printed up on sticky-back vinyl paper. They are indistinguishable from the real thing (Except they can't be backlit but I'm working on that)

I have several spare sheets. I'll bring them with me if you need some.

That wold be awesome.  Thank You!  I WANT ONE FOR SURE....   If you have an extra, I will pay you even.  I will just have to try to plan what I will do with it so I don't mess it up.

Payment? What is this payment you speak of?  8)

No payment necessary. I had about 20 sheets printed up when I made them. I'll bring several for you so you won't have to worry about mucking one up.

Pretty cool eh? That's what I am trying to put in mine lol. I may need Eric to make a very small modification to the captain right panel but aren't they awesome?

So awesome I bought a set. Perfect timing actually as I was in the process of updating my own (inferior) backlighting. Now I don't have to!
