Hello People!

I've just received my motorised 737TQ from Revolution Sim.
As soon as Eren sent it to me, he gave me the tracking number, and I was able to track it from Paris until it arrived bang on time within 48hrs to me in London by UPS. It left France through Orly airport!

It all came boxed delicately, exactly as shown previously by other customers.

There was no damage, and I plugged it all in straight away.  Problem, I'm not used to all this programming, don't know what SIOC is, bearly understand what FSUIPC is, nor how to install the TQ with FS.   I didn';t even have the .rar program to unzip the software provided.

No problem. There and then Eren connected to me remotely, installed all the software required as I sat and wacthed.  Next thing, his programmer from Istambul then connected to me, calibrated the whole throttle for me while I made the movements to the throttle as he took measurements and fine tuned everything.

All of this was for free, and they were very enthusiastice about doing this for me - it was no trouble for them whatsoever.

Basically you got to get this throttle - motorised version is out of this world, throttle friction is spectacular, it is a nice sturdy product, and my kids love coming up to my den to move the throttles up and down pretending to be a pilot!

I've been in a real sim many times, (through www.virtualaviation.co.uk) and on any boeing that flap level is one heavy thing to pull on and select the flap - would you believe moving the TQ flap leve reminded me of thos magic minuted in the ral being sim it is so realistic.

Trim wheels move britlliantly and with minimum of noise.  I'm still taking time to program all the buttons, but getting there  - it is all quite straightforward, and Eren and his team are only too happy to help, day or night!

Ordered mine in November... e-mail two weeks ago said "in a few weeks." We'll see...

AHHHH.

I'm staying positive for the time being....  I don't mind the wait as long as their customer service and interaction stay the same.  Especially as they are building improvements into systems on the line as they go.  I'd much rather wait a while longer and get aluminum parts, for instance, than be that last guy that didn't get them.

I agree partly. I am really glad to have the TQ upgraded with alu parts that they would charged 250â,¬ for. I didn't order that upgrade since I was sure the TQ was solid enough the way they designed it, and if it broke they would have some kind of guaranty for such an expensive product.
So we got it upgraded, but maybe it's more like a design change to secure happy customers . I don't think they will sell it the way it was intended to anyone.
Another thing is that it is a long wait for a product we have paid full price for. I'm more used to pay a smaller amount up front and then the rest when I receive the product.
I got a mail yesterday stating the TQ will be shipped 30.4. I have recived mails statin " in the next few weeks" before, but hope they deliver this time.
All in all it's worth the wait... but I've been in a "x-mas morning modus" for many months already.

I read some of you are a bit anxious about your TQ-delivery. I was in Paris yesterday to visit Eren and the TQ I saw in production looks already so much different then mine. Not only the exterior but the inside electronics have been simplified and cleaned up a great deal. Now I envy you a bit since I have version 1 (January) and you'll get version 1.3  ;D

Biggest reason for the simplification Eren said was customer care afterwards. Based on his experience with shipped out TQ's he wanted to make it as simple as possible, since this is not a little product that you can send back easily. Just to show how Revolution-Simproducts is really dedicated to their guarantee: Eren is flying to Athens this week to fix a problem. How about that!

Hang in there and you're patiece we'll rewarded ;)

fsaviator

That's what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the news.  I envy you guys in Europe... jet-setting around and stopping in at workshops  After spending 30 years of my life in Europe envying how easy everyone in the US used to get things, I find myself on the other side looking in...  Now that I live in the US, it would seem that the shoe is on the other foot.  Simming it seems is very popular in Europe, and a great deal of product is available on that side of the pond (Australia too...).  Oh well.  can't have it all.

Hilarious Warren..  But then again, I can see how that could happen.  So when did you order one?  Has it been a while since you heard from them?

Hi Trev.  I ordered the Proline on the 24th of February.  I heard from Eren on 11 April saying he'd let me know a week out from shipping.  No issues on my end.  I can imagine they were not prepared for the interest they received.

I'm hoping to receive it before I go on vacation in June.  Stupidly, I'm headed to Greece.  What I should have done was routed my flight through Paris instead of Frankfurt on the return, with a day layover and I could have just picked it up and checked it as baggage.  Oh well.  Lessons learned I guess.

Incidentally, I like the new look on the site!

Thanks Warren..  Yeah, I guess sometimes we really need to wait for these parts don't we?  Oh well, I am sure when you get it it will be as you expected..

Well, Well,... the ACE 737 yoke image has been removed from the Revolution Sim  site.

My 2¢: Considering the fact that ACE has no link with  Rev- Sim, I find that using a competitor's picture to promote the same product, and sollicite pre-orders for it, is, at best, a major "faux pas" . Surprising from a Vendor who has established a fairly good image and reputation.

I believe they made a mistake with the yoke picture as I know they are working on their own yoke which will be motorized and will have stick shaker.
