I may be a little behind the 8 ball but I've just read with much delight that PMDG will begin developing the 777 following the release of the 737NGX.  Finally there will be a high quality model to compliment the excellent hardware that's out there for the T7.

Yippee!

Lol, yeah judging by the timeframe for the 737 that'd seem to be true.  However as with all things in this hobby, I'm happy to wait.  Just knowing that it's in the pipeline is pleasing enough.

Yeah, about that 737....

I tell ya. That thing was announced so long ago that something smells a bit fishy. I have the original PMDG 737 and it's excellent. Ive read with great interest that Boeing is somehow involved with the new version and I think that could be one of the reasons the new version has been delayed in its arrival to customers for several years now. The 777 should be an incredible package as Im sure it will be every bit as good as the 747 they have now.

Now if I could just get someone reputable to make a high quality LJ45....

Didn't they release the MD-11 a year or more ago?

And they've also just released the JS41 but I believe these are different design teams (not sure).  Never the less they've obviously deliberated and bug tested the NGX till the cows come home.  If they do similar with a 777 I'll be flying it in my walking frame.  As for the L45 Eric you better start studying up on those air files cos its probably going to be a DIY job.   :)

They have two design teams.  737 guys are supposed to move to the trip 7 when they are done, JS41 guys are working a Dash-8 that is supposed to release between 737 and the 777.
Less than 4 years to retirement......
