NOTICE TO MEMBERS
I have amended the Terms and conditions on the site for NEW USER Registrations and I would request that everyone "Effective Immediately" update their Forum Profile "FIRST NAME"  & "HOME LOCATION" These are required Fields.  This information does not need to go into your Signature If it is in your Profile. Admins use to be the only people that could see this, however this will now be viewable by ALL. this will help to maintain the family-oriented atmosphere that we have here (nothing to hide) I would like to have everyone complete this as soon as possible.

If you have any questions regarding the new policy, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Best regards,

Trev

Good idea

Real First name is a nice touch and, besides that, it is always better to talk to "Jo" than to  "Greatflyer-xyz 42" !
Location of nearest city and country helps too (Time zone, shipping to and from etc..)

Great move, guys! Perhaps people eventually stop referring to me as vidarf!

And when one can see where people lives, one understand that the world has become a small place. I now have people I regard as my friends (not close friends, but friends none the less) all over the globe! That is fantastic!

On a side note, I would love to be able to see each members age as well. I've been surprised more than once, talking to people at my own age only to find out they're really old farts! 8)

Thanks Vidar, The age thing is a bit tricky....  Some of those old farts may not want people to know how old their farts are :)  Many have that private information left out.  Specifically with the growing number of identity thefts.  But I do see your point.
