Server Upgrade, and SSL Integration -

Good morning everyone.  Over the next couple weeks, you may notice forum maintenance mode will be turned on from time to time. This will prevent you from posting new threads and PM's, but will allow you to browse the forum.  It will also prevent new registrations.

If you see this mode turned on in the forum, please understand that dealing with the very fragile database can be tricky, and although we will endeavor to not loose any data, it is always a possibility that some forum functionality may not be kept.

One of the reasons for the upgrade is the forum software can tend to glitch, and not 100% up to snuff where I have the warm and fuzzy feelings. I would like to correct these issues and hopefully position ourselves better for the future.

The addition of SSL encryption will also benefit you and your safety.

Thanks for your patience with regard to all of this, and I appreciate your cooperation.

Morning All,

After a Very Long DNS Propagation, the Site seems to be up and running without many issues.  There may be a few missing attachments, and if this happens, please feel free to repair them.

I am not sure if the site is sending email notifications, and there will still be some Mixed Http/Https Links that need to be corrected.

For those of you who are involved in worldflight, That site has also been given an SSL Certificate.

Thanks,

Trev

Hey Guys,

Ok, I am Done Playing around with the site..  We have completely gone through Phase III of the transformations celebrating our 10 Year anniversary.

A couple of things to note....

1.) Moved the site to a New Host, and New Server (Lost a few attachments unfortunately during this)
2.) Added SSL Certificates for Cockpitbuilders.com and Worldflightusa.com and our Development Environment
3.) Upgraded the forum to the Latest Versions (Pre-2.1 Release Client) and cleaned up the Database.
4.) Created the New Logo and changed it across all our social Media Platforms, With the exception of Facebook, cause I don;t have an account.
5.) Upgraded the Forum to the Latest Release client and Re-installed the Mods with the exception of Bookmarks, because I haven't figured out how to make that work yet. (It kinda worked, and our data is still there) but it also fills the log with errors.  (I won't give up cause I know you love bookmarks).  This will allow us to move on to adding the GDPR Requirements when they are available as well as future proof the site for now.
6.) We now have a proper Mobile Theme

The site is secure, and safe, and I thank you all for your patience. This has not been an easy task.  Special thanks to Bob and GyverX for assisting with the setup of everything.
