hello chaps.......
just thought i'd let you know about these......
phil744 is making some real sweet DZUS fasteners. i managed to let him relieve me of some of my Lelystad spends by buying a few... now i've got them home and fitted them, i'm stunned and just ordered 50 more.   lovely quality......and not expensive either.

I have a few bits and pieces from cheeky Phil in my setup. And for sure, it is no panels out there that match Phils work. I am sure a real pilot would not see the difference from a real one. Bet his Dzus replicas are just about the same quality :)

I'm sure we would have to chip, stain, scratch, etc. Phil's panels before we could convince pilots they were real. Unless of course we tell them its a brand new part. Otherwise, the ones in the actual planes are pretty beat down :D

I had to share a few pictures of a lovely panel I got from Phil and his work is really amazing and in my opinion
his panels look like the panels in a brand new plane if not better.

Even I have some of phils panels in my sim.....(shhhhtttt...dont tell anyone)...

i even upgraded some of phil panels with his newer version this fsweekend.

...and i have to say...great panels.....phil is dedicated to his work...a real perfectionist....

and we all benefit from that.....

Stef

Phil sent me some Dzus  too,  superb quality and it really looks like the real thing when the bolt is set in. have to count how many I need to place an order,
Go4it Guys!!

Wow Stef..  That is one heck of a compliment..  To have some of Phil's Panels (We all know what they are like) in conjunction with Engravity stuff..  Great News!  Man it is stuff like that that make this hobby so great.  Nobody is too proud to admit when someone else does an amazing job.

phil744 is making some real sweet DZUS fasteners

And not only that ..... !!! :-)

Ian,

I try to make them myself, see below.
I also try to imitate Phil as close as possibe.... (isn't it Phil ?).
Even more "strange" ..., he stimulates it....:-).

Now seroius:

Are there also (realistic) springs in de "Phil-fasteners" ?
If that's the case I have to make that too ...

Another "problem"  I have, is that when the screw is tightened it's not automatic in the correct  position (vertical alligned with the DZUS rail). Someone idea's how to make that ?

Hessel

phil744

:o come on chaps your making me blush now.

Hehehe I wasnt planning on selling them by themselves, there a part that comes standard with the panels, but why the hell not eh? i need to get ones finger out and sort my website out.

But thank you for the compliments :)

Take it your happy with the map panels Stef ;)

Hessel, got your email also but have been very busy, sorry about that will reply later on tonight, the solution to your problem is simple, drill your Dzus 0.75mm deeper than what you would normally do, then place rubber (nitrile to be exact) "O" ring in there, the screw tightens up to the O-ring and the o-ring still has enough compression to allow you to turn the screw until the slots all allign up :) i have some over in the workshop, will dig them out tonight and get you a PN

Thanks again Chaps, now gotta make more Damn Dzus ;)

Being Part of a vendor doesnt mean i have to limit myself to that vendor.
I use Phils map light panels (Had his old version and got the new version last week.), Nihads oxygen panels and some of his knobs, Dave's Window handles, etc.

Ofcourse if Phil starts making other 737 panels i will have to kill him ;-)

ian@737ng.co.uk

and i'm just a boy who can't say no as well......
i had the Mk 1 map/chart light switch panels, but when i saw Phil's new ones i just had to stuff euro's in rhys's hand and take a pair away with me  ;D   stunning quality........
just can't understand why somebody with this kind of talent keeps such a low profile  ;D

Hilarious..  All of you..  And Ian, perhaps you didn't read Stef's message..  If Phil starts making more stuff (and not hiding in the shadows) More people will attempt to kill him LOL.

Hessel, I think that will do the trick nicely.

I cant either....but I'm glad his focus is on boeing brown and not boeing grey :-)

 one moment your singing my praises, the next your trying to kill me, love it :)

hmm, real problem for me is the 737, if i make it im dead, if i dont im dead, one cant win lol, hmm neutral ground, maybe airbus???

Few reasons why i keep a low profile, im just a quiet chap, erm, want to make sure im happy 100% on anything i do sell and im snowed under as usual with orders and full time job on top, and if you know what im working on i would have to kill you all hahahah

But thanks again :)

Phil, by the sounds of things it is like you are plugging the hole in the dam with your finger, and you know what will happen if you let go!  ROFL..

Regardless, I think it is safe to say we are all very happy with the work you do, wether you realize it or not.  Your 100% dedicated to this hobby, and you will be very successful.  I know that for sure.

hi guys.......
i was talking to phil yesterday and what he's upto you'll never get.   i'm suprised nobody went there before  ;D  but, that's what covert operations are all about  ;D  ;D  ;D
i'd love to tell you, but sworn to secrecy and all that and if i tell you, he lives too close to me, so i might be the one who gets to sit on the knife  ;D
but, joking apart, i have to take my hat off to a very talented guy and a true gentleman who you just can't help but like.......  ;D
go for it phil, do what you do best, just stunning quality in every panel....
