Hi guys,

I am pretty new here...this is my first post.  ;D
Currently I am working on a GA pit with F1Tech G1000 and the Emuteq hardware, and FSX/X-Plane on a second machine. I am almost finished, just waiting for a DVI adapter to connect my MFD to the graphics card.

I use a triple monitor setup on the flightsim computer, with 3 x 27 inch screens in HD resolution. The view is awesome, however I use the 2D panel in FSX in order to avoid the stretching image on the side screens. The disadvantage of this solution is that you do not see the engine and props...which is a pitty I think. I have seen that professional cockpit builders like PFC were able to to this, see picture below as an example.

Any ideas how this can be done? Even if I use the 3D panel view, I mainly see the cockpit walls on the left and right since I have to raise the seating position to avoid watching at the virtual cockpit (which I do not want to since I have the gauges on the 2nd PC). The same is true for X-Plane 10.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Thomas

My GUESS is, PFC is using a model made for them to do this.
