Hi Guys,

Need some of your network help and support !

I purchased Boeing 737 parts from Desert Air Spares and sent the wire to Jim Doyle before shipment as requested.
Unfortunately, he could not get all parts and he told me he preferred to cancel the order.

I did the wire January 28th of this year and I am still waiting for him to reimburse me.
We have been in contact through email but for different reason he could not proceed to the wire.

It has been six months now since I paid for the pats I never received.
Does anybody could help to have this reimbursement done ?

I businessed with him 3 years ago for seats and TQ and everything went well.
Very good quality for seats and TQ + pedestal fine.

But this time seems more difficult...

Hope someone can liaise and help me.

Thanks a lot in advance

Philippe

Maybe some communication got lost.
Did you try recently

Some years ago I ordered some switches from these guys. They never arrived, however I did get reimbursed for my order.

Moral of the story is, if it is not ebay, or a reputable dealer, then forget it.

PHD737 I'm sorry to hear about that. I bought my 757 cockpit from him and hundreds of other parts from him. I have never had a problem with him. Email can sometimes take a long time for whatever the reason is who knows. It seems unlike him to not reimburse. I would def get the bank involved. Again that sucks to hear.

Hi Jack,
Thank you for your message.
I appreciate.
Few days away with no internet connections explain my late response.

Yes I tried recently, and many times, even copied his assistant, but no answers.
Pretended last time he responded (one month ago and since nothing) he tried to do the wire but did not succeed, being extended  in a trip where wire is impossible to be done.  ;-(
He knows anyway he owes me this money since February.
I am puzzled, upset and really did not expect to experience that.

I am located in France and last time we businessed I was very satisfied. He sold me excellent condition parts seats and TQ. On time !!!

Will keep you posted anyway as I think it is important for the community to be aware of what can happen with some vendors / suppliers !

Hope will have soon very good news to give

Hi Danny,

Thank you for your message.
I appreciate.
Will involve the bank for sure and hope it could only be a email issue but really doubt it. But let's see and I will anyway let you know what happens !

Thank you

Hi James,
Thank you for your message.
How long did it take him to reimburse you ?
In my case, we speak of big parts, much more expansive than switches !
Unfortuntely !!! Many thousands of euros ;-(
In any case, totally agree with you.
But Jim Doyle refuses PayPal ...
But as I businessed with him few years ago and received my order in time, I was encouraged to trust ...
