Hi all,

As part of my cockpit I have l taken apart a sairek
Throttle and yoke and used the throttles as they are
With a bit of cosmetic work, then I used the X axis potentiometer for some home made rudder pedals.
Which work well

I cut three wires to the y axis potentiometer, used the
Pot in a home made flap lever (photos to follow when I figure
Out how to post them!) But now I have reconnected
The wiring, I'm getting no response from it.

Once it was wired up, I loaded up fs2004 and opened fsuipc
But in the axis tab I get no response when moving the
Potentiometer.

The wires were very simple- yellow, red and black. And all
Wired back up the same. Multimeter shows the pot is working ok, I have tried checking all connections and can't really think of anything else...
Anyone got any ideas???

Thanks in advance
Les

First simple question, have you calibrated the axis in your operating system? Does it show and work there?

lesdawson

Hi,
You were right to suggest calibration and simple solution,
After a couple of re-boots it's now working....
Still needs recalibrating quite a bit....

I think I may not have completely shut down the pc and
Re-started when I first connected it.....
Thanks

Les
