I won't say I didn't see this coming...  I believe we had a discussion a while back.

It may haveenjoyed better success in the market they targeted if they had ported it to the Xbox.  Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned.  It puts any undecided sim seekers back into the FS9/FSX or XP boat which may lead to improvements down the road.
Anyone taking bets on whether they decide to bring FS back from the grave?

I bet FSXI or some other name version will hit by December 2013 and they will hype it come Jan. 2012; thus for a year we will have to listen or read a gazillion post about if the "Flight" engine will be used or will it be that they rehire Aces team, but call them something else...

Either way MS isn't going to quit that easy. Remember FS 98 and 2000? Then, FS 2004 came after those, with all three on a two year cycle. So, Flight came in 2011 with hype first. Therefore, 2013 is my guess.
