Hi Guys,

I understand I can't keep everyone Happy, But I ask that you please respond to this Poll.  I had no choice to upgrade to the Latest versions of the software, and in doing that, the theme had to change.  I know Not everyone can be happy, but feel free to post here with your comments.

Least the damn page lines up properly and you can hide the dashboard.

You should try this. Lol

Honesty is the Best Policy :) I Love it.

The forum really looks great including the new logo and is wonderfully more responsive.  That said, I have not explored all the new features or the mobile version, so I will hold off on casting a 100% vote until I explore some more!

Thanks Trev!

Thanks Fred,  The Mobile isn't anything special, just lets you navigate with a mobile friendly version.  As for the Software features, the quick reply, quick edit and the ability to get notifications from threads without having to post are neat features..  Like a subscribe button.

Once people get use to the Layout, I am sure if I ran the Poll again in a year, the results would be better.  I personally Love the logo and layout myself, but I am a bit partial as I designed them (With The help of GyverX and his graphic design skills).

Regardless.  I like to hear everybody's opinions good and bad.

What's missing in the top left corner?  I'm on Chrome.

Right above Cockpit Builders

Interesting.  I didn't want the cockpitbuilders words there, so I replaced it with a blank image for the logo.  The Forum Software works like this (if image is specified) no words.  If no Image is specified you get the cockpitbuilders.com words.  Handy.  Because you can see this, I am at a loss and need to investigate.

Never seen that before..

Really Strange, Im really sorry this is happening but I attached a screen shot of my Chrome and I do not see that image logged in or off of the Site. I went as far as had another person take a look at the site in chrome out side of the community.
We are looking into this and please let us know if this situation persists.

I mostly use my phone for everything. The mobile layout is OK but will take some getting used to. Have to scroll down pretty far to get to the posts.  Not a big  deal.

The tapatalk app would help you with that Craig.  if you want to try it, but it has its own styling.

Lets see how it goes.

Might be just the Chrome at work being an older version that is causing it.  Chrome at home doesn't show up

Awesome, well Not Awesome. But at least I know it's an isolated thing.  Actually, I may have an idea what is causing it and will see if I can try something..  I will report back here when I would like you to try again.

I have that image located on my development server, and am backlinking it.  I am going to move the image to this server and see if that corrects the issue.

I will let you know.

This is my first post ever...been a reader for years.  This new layout has rendered the site useless for me. I hope I'm just using wrong. My browser is Chrome on Windows 10. On my screen I have 4 columns. (Shortcuts, Users, Reading, Message list). The reading panel contains the writer's icon and the message to be read. The amount of space left for the message is only 12 characters wide. I widen this by reducing the shortcuts to icons only.  When I find a message to read and click on it, the message shows up in the reading column but the shortcut column reverts back to full size thereby reducing the message back to the very narrow 12 characters. I am forced to go to the top of the page and again reduce the shortcuts. If topic I am trying to read has a lot of replies you can imagine how far up I must go to be able to once again reduce the shortcuts. Then go all the way back down to read.
What am I doing wrong?
Poor spellers of the world untie!

Trevor Hale

Hey Bud. I know how long you have been a member here. I find this very strange. The shortcut menu on the side shouldn't be taking up all that space.

Do you have any idea what resolution your monitor is running?

Would you happen to be able to take a screenshot for me and attach it.

I understand this is frustrating for you.  I may have a solution. I will change your theme. Please post back if it is at least better for you.

Hang on one second.

I have made it so you all can change the theme back to the default. If you so desire.

And sir I have already changed you to the default.

I hope this helps

I've been a member since 9/18/09.  I think I'm something like member #47 or so. I ended up having to call you at home to become member and talked to a nice lady. My screen is 1366 x 768. Thanks for setting it up for me. All is well now, my world has not ended. If I continue this breakneck barrage of messages every 10 years or so I'll be in my 80's before you here from me again.  Oh, the pressure!
