Merry Christmas Trevor, and everyone else.

No sim parts this year, but a bottle of my favorite:

Some German chocolate and new house slippers too. The gift I bought for myself won't be here until next week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Awesome Mike.  New slippers are nice and warm I hope :)  That looks really nice.  I hope you aren't spending the day alone Mike, with any luck you will have some visitors.

I am going to guess you got yourself another monitor?  LOL

I hope you have a great day too!

Naw, had a house full of people over last night and a second house full later this afternoon.

No monitor, but I'll post a photo or two when it gets here next week. It's not sim releated. Pretty off-topic actually, but I've been waiting 30 years for one.

So overall I think I made out like a Christmas Bandit this year :)
I don't think the fact that I threatened to Choke out the Jolly old elf had anything to do with it at the local Mall, LOL  (Nah jjking ) :)I started listing stuff and everytime I was going to stop, I felt I was disrespecting someone who got me something so the list got longer than I intended sorry. Now I feel like a greedy B$#^@D knowing many in the world are less fortunate.
But all in all it was a great Christmas, but I would have gladly traded all this stuff for a closer relationship with my 18 year old daughter :(
All the best Guys and a Seasons Greetings Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas guys,  :idiot:
It's my 65th birthday in a couple of days time so the wife pushed the boat out and got me a CP Flight MCP Pro and a pair of EFIS Pro units to go with it.
That's the reason I have a Go-Flight MCP and EFIS for sale...  ::)

The only trouble is they are full size units not 85% like the Go-Flight ones so I'll have to do a chop job on the Glare shield. Not complaining tho...  ;)

Hope you all have a good break and good fortune for 2010.

Incidentally Trev, did you ever motorise your TQ, if so I'd appreciate a run down of parts and how it's controlled... anyone else with any thoughts on this would also be appreciated.

Regards
Joe.

Joe Lavery

Hi Tim and thanks for the good wishes,
I'm asking £200 for both units which is roughly $320 US. This is less than half the current price so I believe it's a fair price.  :D Particularly when you consider we pay almost the same amount stirling as you do in dollars. so I paid £450 for the MCP and £220 for the EFIS unit.  :-[

Obviously the postage would be whatever it costs to send them securely.
All the best
Joe.

PS. If anyone else is interested I also have a full set of 12 Simkits gauges for sale including the CCU2 controller.

Fantastic Tim, looks like you hit the Jackpot...  Ok, ok..  I was totally fine with your list until I saw that you got a Slap Chop... LMFAO..

Just wait, you will love my Nuts. OMFG.  I pee myself every time I see that commercial.

Vince is Obsessed with his Nuts (Edited version)

Additionally, Joe.. My FSC TQ that I have is already Motorized, but If you will remember it blew up on me.  I did manage to replace the servo's and it is back up and running.  Still not as smooth as I would like it to be, but it is getting there.

Well, not a whole lot this year considering the way things are going but great health, a wonderful wife and healthy 1 year old baby girl, and life is still great. However, I did get some $$$ to go toward a major sim part purchase coming up so that helps a bit and my wife told me to buy some scenery too so it is all good. All in all though, still a great Christmas with friends and family. Oh yeah, an entire day uninterupted for working on the sim- that's priceless! :-)
